2012
VPAC has been invited to attend events at the venues
listed below during this year. We will endeavour to have at least
one VPAC Management Committee member in attendance, weather permitting.
As usual please contact the airfield before you set out and remember
that it is the pilot's personal responsibility to ensure that you
have appropriate insurance cover and adhere to the airfields' safety
and noise abatement procedures. We hope that as many of you as possible
will be able to attend with your aircraft and we look forward to
a really good turnout at each event. Both the VPAC Email system
and the VPAC Website will give the latest information on the events.
Old Warden get-together Old Warden, Saturday
26 May This will be a "Wings and Wheels" event and
the aircraft of some other type clubs will be present, so visitors
(either by air or road) would have to pay an admission fee of £12
which will cover entrance to the Collection and the Vehicle event.
There will be no landing fees for arriving aircraft, and fuel will
be available from the mobile bowser (Ken Hyde & Co!), and the
Collection Restaurant will be open as usual. The airfield will be
unlicensed and no Air Traffic service will be available, so in the
interests of good airmanship and flight safety, I would suggest
that arriving aircraft make "blind" calls on 130.7 mhz.

15 September
There have been many developments at this beautiful airfield in
the years since VPAC last had a fly-in here. Suffice to say, we
are assured a very warm welcome and we have Sunday the 16th as a
bad-weather fall back day. Some of us will probably elect to stay
overnight in any event.
PLEASE DO NOT PUBLICISE THIS EVENT outside VPAC, as we wish to keep
it a VPAC only event.
In addition we have been advised of a number of other events which
may be of particular interest to VPAC members. These are:
